Freezer Not Working after Defrost
After defrosting the freezer and switching back on the appliance is not working. There is both a green and red light on which I think is right but no freezing.

I have changed both electronic boards in this freezer and it still will not display the temp. and will beep at times. Can reset and sometimes it will be 8 hours before it starts beeping again. At times it will start showing the temp. for awhile and then beep again and lose the temp. readout.

I know we have the manual somewhere, but after 20+ trouble-free years, we can't find it. The freezer is maintaining about 20"F. Had a drip coming from the door, and it MAY not have been closed tightly overnight. Just looking for general info from the manual.

ice maker
the metal "wire" has fallen off and the ice-maker is constantly making ice. I'll like to stop that activity. How do I re-install the wire and turn off the ice-making.
This is an older machine, in a house I purchased a few months ago.

I moved the fridge/freezer from my old home to the garage in my new home. It worked for a few days, but now it has stopped working. I switched if off for 24hrs, ensured good ventilation and tried again - no success. Anything else I can do before deciding to dump it?
