Broken
We have a GFC720F disposal. One of the two steel "arms" attached to the turntable, has broken off. This unit is about 3.5 years old. I am trying to determine if it is still under warrenty. Also, can the unit be repaired, or must it be replaced?

GC2000PE2 Doesn't turn on
My disposal was working find. My dishwasher overflowed(wrong detergent)
After that the disposal never turned on again. I'm told that it is on the same breaker as the DW. DW now works fine.
The house is only 4 years old and the disposal hasn't been used all that much.

glass in the drain
I broke the glass shelf to the refrigerator in the sink and now the disposal isn't working. I tried to put a wooden spatula in the drain to clear any glass but it doesn't do anything when I flip the switch on the wall.

GC1000 won't work
Just moved into a home with a Whirlpool kitchen. I made sure the GC100r0 was plugged in and I hit the reset button. I also checked the breaker and made sure the blades were free and turning. What else shall I check?

When I try to attach the disposal to the sink, the notch on the connector piece does not fit into the groove. It seems as though the rubber ring does not allow a snug fit so that the notch can slide into the groove and lock into place. Help!

not grinding all of the food. I put a small piece of cheese down the disposal and it did not grind it up. I added ice cubes, they got choped but the cheese remained. what going on?

Sink will not drain
Unit will turn on but material is backing up into the sink and will not drain. The other side of the sink will drain.

Switch problem

How to use the self-service wrench

Disposal stopped working while in use.

I am trying to replace my GC1000 disposal and can't remove the flange from under the sink. The thing is on there so tight it won't budge. From the perspective of the top of the disposal, I'm trying to twist is counter clockwise, but it is on solid.
Any suggestions?
