Ice melts too much before it is released
The original ice maker quit and we replaced it with another one from Sears. It melts the ice too much before it releases it into the bin, causing all the ice to become one large ice blob. There were no instructions included with this icemaker.
does not shut off Makes too much ice
The machine does not shut off after the ice bin is full. I think the bin thermistor may be bad.(WR55X10018) The specs I have calls for a resistance of 25.9-29.8K ohms. Since this is a temperature sensitve device, at what temp should I measure this? GE is of no help. I measure 12.5k @ 70F and 33.5K @ approx 33F. Before I plunk down $60 for a new one I would like to make sure the one I have is bad. Thanks
Water pump
Please advise if you have outlets in Namibia or Swaziland as I am after a water pump for the above model Ice Maker. Perhaps you could quote me direct including shipping to Johannesburg South Africa
