a friend of mine recently gave me a rice cooker maxim but i have lost the manual and i cant work out how much water to put in to how much rice. One side has 0.2, 0.4, 0.6, 0.8 and the other has 1 cup, 2cup, 3 cup etc... what is the proportions?

Removed screws to try to open rice cooker
I removed the bottom and lower side screws to try to access the heating element in my rice cooker, and now not only can I not get the screws back in, but the rice cooker will not work!

blinking red lights
When the unit is plugged in, the first 3 lights blink red (warm, steam, and white rice). I've looked in the manual, but can't find troubleshooting.

Rice Cooker
The non stick coating in the aluminum pot that the rice cooks in is peeling off in many places. Would like to buy a new pot for it if possible or maybe it's just better to get a new stainless steel cooker.

wont stop beeping
Every time we use the steamer, during cooking time, regardless of the water levels the machine constantly beeps flashing the water level indicator and then starts to cook again ... this happens every minute or so and is quite annoying!! What would be causing this and and what can we do to fix it?

H2 Error
Hi,
My rice cooker has been working fine for a number of years. Last week, all of a sudden, it showed H2 on the screen. I used it to cook the day before without any problem. Now, it does not work any more (no response to any button). Please let me know how to get around this error message.

I tried everything, and the Rice cook light can not be turn on. The keep warm light is always on.

I have the above rice cooker / with steamer basket...it has 2 places to move the switch for cooking...one is a red light and one is a yellow light...I cannot decipher your symbols at each...what setting do I use to cook rice?...so far everytime it boils over...a lot!
