The rice measure cup does not show 1 rice measure, 2 rice measure, etc. It shows 1/4 cup, 1/2 cup and 3/4 cup. The rice turns out mushy. Do I have the right part?

Cooking indicators remain on for 1 min. only
bought a Panasonic rice cooker (model no. SR-WA18H).Whenever I go for cooking the amber indicator of cooking turns on and within 2 min. of cooking it is shifting towards warm on position. As a result cooking becomes not possible. How to fix this problem?

I put 2 measures of rice and 3 cups of water in my cooker, and had to keep lifting the lid and stirring so it wouldn't boil over.

a friend of mine recently gave me a rice cooker maxim but i have lost the manual and i cant work out how much water to put in to how much rice. One side has 0.2, 0.4, 0.6, 0.8 and the other has 1 cup, 2cup, 3 cup etc... what is the proportions?

Removed screws to try to open rice cooker
I removed the bottom and lower side screws to try to access the heating element in my rice cooker, and now not only can I not get the screws back in, but the rice cooker will not work!
