Sprocket chain washer
The sprocket chain nut fell off during operation and the plastic washer is worn out and needs replacement. I need a parts breakdown manual to seee what parts I need to get and any preventative maintenance I may need to do.

kitchen aid trash compactor
I want to slide the whole unit out off of its tracks but it hits the stops and I cannot find a latch or release to allow it to slide all the way out.
I need to remove it to turn it over to clean the bottom.
Does anyon kow where there is a releae lever or such to allow it to be removed? I have drawers and have had other compactors that have levers to lift or to raise the whole unit when sliding it out to clear the metal slides but this one does not react that way. This unit is about 30 years old

Kitchenaid Trash Compactor part needed
I need a part for KUCS02FRSS1. I don't know what the part is called but it attaches to the foot pedal and makes contact when the pedal is raised to start the compacting.

trash compactor won't stop
i pushed the button to compact and it won't stop, we figured something may have gotten logged into the compactor and it worn't move back into the off position. is there any way to fix this

Anything I should know?
Never owned a compactor before, is it so easy to run and maintain that an owner's manual isn't included? I paid over $1000 for this and I thought a manual would be included. We also have a garbage disposal, so it will never see food products so I am not concerned about that aspect of it.
