    Stuck drawer
    A box is stuck in the compactor drawer above the top of the drawer. I cannot open the drawer to remove it. Any suggestions?

    18" 1976 trash compactor
    I absolutely can't live without this appliance, but it's dying from wear. The compress-or does NOT come back up "level", and we need to repair the plastic
    insert on the threaded post.

    not working
    my compactor is stuck about 1 inch from the totally up position and won't move up or down. when i hit switch it just hums. If i continue to hit switch the unit motor stops completely for about 3 to 4 minutes and then comes on again. I can't open door because the compactor is about 1 inch down and doesn't allow the door to open! any suggestions. thanks

    Drawer will not open
    Door will not open and motor appear is not moving the crushing device.

    Ram is down
    The ram is down and stays down and the motor continues to run
