Black&Decker Breadmaker B2200 recipes
Are some of these recipes in the manual out to lunch? I tried Herbed French Bread with program setting 3 (Rapid Bake II) and followed the directions carefully. It didn't mix well or rise properly and clearly didn't bake long enough. What gives?

grease on paddle
cleaned the basket and paddle with warm soapy water and rinsed well.
added ingredients to make dough. When I took the dough out the paddle and the dough have a black greasy substance on them. is this a reaction of the metal paddle with the ingredients or is a seal gone or something ?

Mixing Bread on French #5
