  I released the clasps but bottom does not come off. Am afraid to pull harder b/c will tear off wall. What am I not doing correctly?

  the fan does not work, but the light does, so i know there is power to the unit. The wiring looks to be hooked up properly. Any sugestions?

  Unit always goes into defrost cylce
  The unit always goes into defrost cycle when it is turned on, then it shuts off after 3 minutes. Does anyone know how to prevent this. There is not any frost in the unit it is 60 degrees out.

  why air flow out from the top panel vent even if the baffle reinstalled and block the vent already? What is the problem?

  My hood has a white, black and green wire(green already attached to the grounding point. I bought a 3-wire cord to connect up the hood.   circuit has power, light bulbs ok but fan and lights do not work when buttons on control panel are pushed. Fan speed indicator lights do work.

  stuck ram
  The ram on my Broan compactor goes down but doesn't come back up. The motor keeps running. If I push up on the ram I can make it catch and it goes back up.
