It was working fine until I moved it and plugged the unit into a GFI outlet, and the outlet kept opening.
Plugged into another outlet, the unit worked but I received a mild shock from the fridge.

Dryer not functioning

Dryer will work for only a few minutes then it will automatically shut off. After only a few minutes the dryer feels like it has been on for an hour because of the heat it is giving off. Please help :)

how to open up dryer
Had this dryer serviced once - at the time, the technician showed me how to open up the top/front of the dryer and clean out any collected lint. However, this was a while ago and I've forgotten how to do this. If anyone can describe how this is done, I would be grateful. Thanks!

dry making noise
The dryer is about 6 years old and recently it has started making a humming noise after runing just a few minutes . A service teck look at the dryer and did not find anything wrong. However, he did not hear the humming noise. He guessed that it was the motor going bad.
Any ideas?

The turntable was working and in the middle of playing, it just stopped spinning. We checked to make sure it was plugged in. We also checked to make sure the selector know was all the way on phono and 33. None of that worked.Do you have any other suggestions?

Black soot from oven
The range was bought used, told it was on propane, is currently on propane. When the oven is used, it accumulates soot on the 'backboard(?)' just above the oven vent. Could it possibly be set to run on gas, or is there some sort of adjustment that needs to be done.
