Power Won't Turn On Dometic RM2852 Americana Refrigerator
Our son cut the extension cord running to our trailer with the lawn mower. When we plugged it in with a new cord, all power is working fine EXCEPT the fridge won't turn on. The On/Off Switch will not light up. Does anyonek now of a reset switch? We have checked all the fuses and none of them seem to be bad. We even replaced a few of them just in case. But still no power to the fridge. It wom't turn on with the Gas either. Any ideas?

There is a plug in the bottom of the freezer. Is it to be plugged in at all times or what is its purpose. I saw no reference in the manual.

Installing my Dometic RM2354
I connected the positive and negative feeds (5' span w/ 10G wire) to the positive and negative posts on my battery but when I turn the fridge on the auto and Lev 5 cooling light flash and then the fridge turns off. No fuses have blown. Did I do something wrong?

Adjusting temperature
I have a model RM2652 in my RV and would like to know which way to move the temperature adjustment, up or down to make it colder.

If I want to start my fridge before a trip can I start the fridge using gas and do I have to have DC power on as well?
