The frig works very well with the electricity. And even a expert clean the burner, the line and the chimeny and the flame looks fine (deep blue), the frig still have problem to reach 4'C.

After this unit was installed we turned on and found it was working fine, filled with goodies and hit the open road. After driving for about an hour we stopped and checked insside the RV.
Low and behold the contents of the fridge were all over the trailer.
Obviously the door lock is a piece of JUNK…

Installing my Dometic RM2354
I connected the positive and negative feeds (5' span w/ 10G wire) to the positive and negative posts on my battery but when I turn the fridge on the auto and Lev 5 cooling light flash and then the fridge turns off. No fuses have blown. Did I do something wrong?

When in 12 volt operation with the car's engine off what is the average time that a good battery could run the unit, i.e., how many amps per hour does it draw at 12 volts?
