I have a GE 22 frig and discovered water in the back under where the water line comes in. There is no water on the line, but a nice puddle on the floor. Any idea where this would come from? Is there a drain pan? Where?

My freezer cools great but the fridge side wont start the compressor kicks on for about 15 seconds then shuts off and will go for about 1:30 then do the same. Im thinking its a bad relay but cant find one for my unit. Anyone help...

CAN I REMOVE THE WATER FILTER PERMANENTLY, I HAVE A FILTRATION SYSTEM IN THE HOUSE AND DON'T NEED THE FILTER IN THE FRIDGE.

Water not dispensing...
The water is not dispensing from the front door panel. My icemaker is working fine but sometimes the ice doesn't dispense from the front door either! Of course I bought a extended warranty and this part is not covered!

FREEZER

Ice cubes clump
Ice cubes clump together in the right hand corner of ice bin. Ice maker still works fine but have to remove big clump by hand about every 8 - 10 days.

Refrigerator cannot cool
The food in my freezer is not frozen. When I keep the door open, I can hear the cooler is running and making the noise but as soon as I shut the door it stops.

The ice maker pours water directly into the ice tray. There is a water diverter that seems to have become dislodged but I can't seem to see how it gets reattached. Do you have a picture of that diverter?

icemaker problem
The icemaker just stopped producing ice. The freezer is cold. the water dispenser works. the water does not flow into the ice tray. There is no motor noise or buzzing. the power button is on. the swinger arm is there and is not blocked.

Ice maker
Can amount of water in ice maker be reduced. Ice is produced in 'slabs' with all cubes joined together and too strong for helix to break. Lower water level might make separate cubes or produce weaker 'bridge' joining cubes. Help appreciated.

Water dispensor not working
The water dispensor has quit working. Ice dispensor still works and I've changed the filter. If the water supply line to the indoor dispensor may be frozen how do I thaw it.

GE Monogram not cooling
This afternoon I noticed my freezer was thawing and the refrigerator not cooling. The fan runs, compressor does not. There was also a layer of frost on the back wall of the freezer. I am going to let it sit off all night and see what happens. Any ideas will be much appreciated.

temperature control
My ge fridge temp. keeps changing. The freezer is too warm and the food compartment is too cold and both keeps fluctuating up and down. What needs to be done to fix this. It has a touch pad temp. control with LED temp. readings.

The door to my refrig was left open for 2 days. Now the freezer and refrigerator won't stay cool .. the motors don't run and the freezer light went out. When resetting the temperatures the settings won't stay on and go back to the warmer ones.

Freezer Freezes coils and burns up heater
Have had 4 heaters in 7 1/2 years. GE continuously band-aides problem along with charging us for service every time. Coils freeze up, burns out heater, heater replaced, last short time and vicous circle continues. HELP! What is real root of problem?

GE 15.6 cu. in. Refrigator, approx. 42 years old
Currently freezer coils are cooling but the freezer fan does not work. I pulled the fan and it checked out OK. There must be a relay etc. which kicks this fan into the on position. Possibly a wiring sch. would help but I feel there is a temperture switch which kicks in the relay. Help!

Replacement bulb
GE TFX27F The manual says use a night light bulb of the same wattage. The prints on the blown bulb are faded and I am not able to see them. I got a 220 volts / 40 watts bulb and the light is very dim. Please state the voltage and wattage of the replacement bulb.\Thanks

not maintaining temp
Temperature rose to 26 in freezer and 62 in fridge . After unplugging and cleaning fridge/freezer, set temperature to 37/fridge and 0/freezer, but remains at 25 degrees and 58 degrees even after a few hours. What can we do?

Water won't stop coming out of dispenser
Our water dispenser on our 4 year old GE refrigerator won't stop dispensing water. the water keeps coming out even when we are not pressing on the dispenser arm. The only thing that we have been able to do to get it to stop is turning off the shut-off valve.

front panel dispenser problems
my GE started having problems with the ice dispenser where the flap would open but wouldn't close. I discontinued using the ice dipenser and closed the opening to keep the cold from escaping. Now, intermittently, it won't dispense water or ice cubes and the indicator lights are off and won't turn on…

my temp display was working sometimes, now not at all. the freezer temp is fluctuating from -5 to +15 degrees for no apparent reason(opening often,door not shut tightly). same problem with cold food compartment, temp fluctuating from +35 to +50 degrees.
