Freezer cooling problem
First indication was freezer high temp alarm sounding. Unplugged unit, then replugged in, and unit began running & cooling seemingly normally. But will this happen again? Could this be a partial failure of defrost timer?

not keeping cold.
We bought our new freezer about 9 mouths ago. and last week the red light came on Hi Temp. MOD# 253.28442801 Its a Kenmore up right freezer. i would like to fix it my self sense its new any tips to what it might be?

ice building up on ice maker
The ice maker has a build up of ice on th area where the cubes are dispenced.
This in turn does not allow the door to open easly. The flapper on the door seems to be closing properly. After we remove the ice bin and defrost it. we will put it back in for a while . Befor we start making more ice. …

Help
the door alarm goes off & b is displayed on the screen but the door is closed and the switch that turns on the light is working. the alarm gets anoying going off a couple of times a day

Fan always on
I just bought this freezer and Sears installed it for me. I notice that the fan is always on. I would expect that once the freezer reaches the desired temp. the fan would shut off. Is this normal operation or should I have Sears come back and check it out?

not cooling
freezer has been unplugged for quite some time and isn't cooling when turned on. Freezer looks like new. Any very commonly found causes you have run into for lack of cooling?

Gets cold but not freezing
On the coldest setting the evap fan runs and the compressor pumps and piping
chills but does not get cold enough to freeze. Is the Defrost heater on all the time? Need opinons please.

Stops freezing
Our Freezer kept thawing out and we suspect that this was due to the drain in the back having been clogged/blocked which resulted in the coil to freeze. Inside the unit is a large panel, behind it is a coil. We dont believe this should NOT be frozen!! NOTE: the freezer is "frostless"

Where is the battery located for the Fast Freeze Light & Buzzer?
The fast freeze light is flashing code FF b: the buzzer was going off twice a day and it is becoming more frequent. Does anyone know where the battery compartment is located so I can change the battery before the problem causes a us to loose the contents which will be a termendous for our family.

Unit shuts down and will not restart until it is unplugged left for a few minutes and then plugged in. Overload may be faulty. Compressor sounds ok.
