water hammer in pipes during wash cycle
While the dish washer is going through cycles we are getting water hammer at different times during the cycle.

smell
my dishwasher smells - I have done a baking soda wash, vinegar wash and a bleach wash (at separate times) and the smell keeps coming back! yuck. how can I get rid of it and why is is happening?

soap and ? dispenser on the door
In the soap dispenser there are two cups, the larger one for soap the other for what? It has a starburst like symbol in it.

unable to get child lock light to go out and stay out.
held button for 4 seconds. it will go out, but when you try to start the dishwasher, the child lock lite comes back on. rendering the dishwsher unusable

not working correctly

My wife is saying the dishwasher isn't working. I noticed the "spinner" mounted on the bottom is free flowing. Should it be free turning or should it be connected to a belt?
Basically we have water but it doesn't look like its shooting up or draining well.

I just received my upper and lower rack to replace in my KUD102CRBS0 dishwasher. No instructions! I was thinking this would be easy, but it looks pretty involved. Are there detailed instructions to help in replacing the old racks with new ones?

Dishwasher no power once plugged in
Suddenly my dishwasher shows no sign of power. We checked the GFCI outlets to make sure there is power to the machine, but it shows no sign of even having power. The disposal switch is on the same outlet and works fine. Is there some sort of reset button? By the way this is the KUDSO2FR model.

Overflow protection float leaking

Problem
My dishwasher wil not cycle. The green cleas light flashes and it will not clear when a new cycle is selected. When I select a normal wash the cycle timer goes to 2 and counts down and ends. Can you please help?

Drain Water from Bottom Unit To Top Unit
When operating the bottom drawer, the drain water goes into top unit. Have removed air gap and it is free and clear as is the drain. Is there a one way valve in drain of each drawer to inhibit backflow. How can this be checked/replaced?

1. "Normal" cycle light constantly blinks off/on... can't start dishwasher.
2. Press "Cancel"... cancel AND normal cycle lights both blink off/on.

Broken Door
KitchenAid Model KUDS01FK. Is there some kind of spring for the door. We heard a pop like a spring breaking or comming loose and now the door is much heavier than it was prior. If there is a spring, is it internal or on the outside where I can reattach if I pull the Dishwasher out of the cabinet?

Dishwasher "on" light and wash cycle does not turn on.
Except for the "on" button, all other buttons light up (heavy load, etc.) and the clear/drain button works. I shut the power off for hours and still no change. It is as if the timer has stopped. Help!
