  Freezer quit and part needed
  My freezer just quit. I had the compressor and other components checked. They think it might be the thermostat and we need to know to tell and how to access it. Manual would be helpful, but it did not come with one. How do I get one?

  power light ...
  what is it for ...I assume it's for indicating whether or not there is power avail.
  but it goes off when i turn off the fast freeze...which I don't think I need...so it seems that the unit may not restart by thermostat. when I see the green power light off I worry that the unit will not run!!

  Defective Rubber seal around top corner of door
  I am looking for a service manual for a MCUF3DS Magic Chef freezer. The rubber seal is defective and does not seal properly at the top corner of the door when shut.
  
  I need help finding a service manual on the correct parts list to purchase a new rubber seal and also what I need to do to replace it.

  Interior covered in ice
  Entire interior box keeps freezing over - completely covered in ice, even when temp is on lowest seting.

  manual & defrost problem
  the freezer sometimes does not want to come out of the defrost cycle.
  Also, Magic Chef or Maytag do not have the manuals on line for this freezer.

  How do I defrost it?
  I have the large 27x22x34Magic Chef Chest. I am not sure how to defrost it. I see a round hole type thing on the left side of the freeze. Do I just pull the plug out? Please advise defrosing instructions. Can I get the instructions on line. I would also like the manual.
