The bearing is out on my Neptune washer. I have the super stack SL-2. How difficult is it to replace on my own? My son is a mechanical engineer and takes on most car repairs. Is it worth the time and effort to do it on our own?

Dryer leaving black marks on clothes
Drum does not seem to be set correctly when I view from outside in. Can see the belt???? which is probably what is leaving the marks. Can I reset/align the drum without alot of hassle?

having problems with control panel. Last night in would not light up at all. This morning the insta wash lit up, so I started the dishwasher. Dishwasher cleans and drys good. I tried to cancel insta wash and start a longer cycle, but it wouldn't. Is my control panel going out?

Model RTD 1900 Top freezer, Age aprox. 15 yrs.
Does not seem to have the capacity to cool the refrigerator portion, but cools the freezer sufficiently. Also runs almost contiuously. Both refrig.& freezer settings are on 1. Refrigerator temp. is between 42 & 48 degrees.

Maytag Dryer MDE4057AYW just stopped running
My maytag dryer model MDE4057AYW was running for about 20min then just stopped in the middle of the load, now it will not start again. I have checked on all different settings and it all has the same outcome(nothing). I have also checked and there is power going to the dryer.

machine fills fine but will not agitate. It makes a buzzing sound. If I rotate the timer several times the washer will start and run through the cycles. I changed the timer, but no help.

Dryer won't Run when calling for heat
first, the moisture indicator has one light on, which should not be. The dryer will run when on 'airfluff' mode or other mode not calling for heat. When it is in an automatic moisture sensing mode it will not work.

refrig not cooling
On our MSD 2957AEW refrigerator the frig side is not cold it will get cool but not cold. The Freezer appears to be fine. If I remember, isn" there a fan that in the frig side drawing cold air from the freezer? if so where is that fan and how easy/hard is it to replace.

Not Cleaning

Won't drain
Our 15 + year old dishwasher won't drain, it seems to make a humming noise when it's supposed to be draining. I checked drain hose, no blockage, and I pulled it apart inside and got as far as I could without apparent problem. We never had a problem with it before, and it's used regularly (3 kids...)…
