maytag dishwasher bran new
machine will not reset. The sanitizer lite,normal wash lite and the cancel lite all flash. I have tried different ways to reset the dishwasher ie. turning off the breaker ,wolding down the cancel pad and the heat dry pad but nothing works. If anyone wants feed back I am sure willing to slam Maytag. Neil

drain pipe
just wondering if it is normal for the drain outlet on the dishwasher itself is bigger than the hose going to my drain am i missing a piece?????

Maytag dishwasher, model MDC4000AWE
Started dishwasher, operated for a little bit, then a bad electrical smell and burning plastic was noted. In further inspection, I noted an electrical plug from the door panel to the motor had burned through on the left side . The plug to the motor received the worst damage. JMy question is can this plug be replaced or does the whole motor need replacing ?
If the motor needs replacing can I do it myself, and is there any material out there to show a person as to how it goes together?
