ice maker not making enough
Ice maker has worked in a grand way until today. Honestly, I have not heard it fill or dump cubes all day. Any ideas?

drain
As long as the drain tube is down it will drain. When we hook it back to the garbage disposal the water backs up into the ice maker

Ice maker got you down? Broken motor assembly shaft?
I believe I have finally figured out why my ice maker breaks every few months.
A repair man has replaced the motor assembly twice already, and my Whirlpool fridge is only 3 years old.
Tip: Remove the door to the ice tray so you can see the dispenser arms. If you open the freezer door and you see the arms in another position (ice maker is cycling) IMMEDIATELY close the freezer door and let the cycle finish. I believe if you leave the freezer door open too long, the ice re-freezes to the tray and the shaft breaks when it tries to eject the ice.

Air Flow Fan in Freezer
The sound deadener fell on my fan motor in the freezer and everything thawed. When I checked out the fan motor, I found the fan motor bearing is out also.
