    Typically, an outdoor propane 30 to 40 quart vessel with lid, basket, lifting hook and burner can handle a whole turkey up to 14-pounds. Please consult your owner's manual for specific instructions regarding your fryer. ChaCha!

    Unit is ok but with anoyances
    This unit is ok for the price. However, not mentioned in the manual, is that the timer must be on in order for the unit to operate. Problem? The timer shuts off every 5 minutes or so and the manual does not say anything about that. Therefore, you must stay out with the unit and constantly turn the timer to full every few minutes.
