  Broken safety shield
  I was using a friends' Grass Hog this weekend, and it just stopped working. I noticed later that part of the safety shield, not the trimmer blade, was broken. Would this be the reason it stopped working? A safety feature or something? Help! I can't afford to buy him a new one!
