  Refrig stop freeze/cooling checked unit out and the smell of ammonia was very evident. Please inform me of the recall on the Dometic refrigerator and the steps that needs to be taken to get the unit replaced or repaired. Thank you.

  Had the recall upgrade done in March before a week-long trip. Returned and parked on pad, connected to shore power as usual.
  
  
  
  Had no reason to check the refrigerator until late May and found it off. Inspection revealed:

  Replacing control board with new model
  My control board got fried.
  
  The new one seems to need some wiring changes but no diagrams came with the replacement board.
