Can You Help With These Problems?

  timer beeping incessantly
  The timer beeps without provocation. Started yesterday. Beeps. I turn it off. Beeps again. Over and over. In fact, it beeped all night! When I can get a display on the clock, it reads F1. I don't know the model number, but I bought it in 1992, if that helps to identify it.

  I can not get the self cleaning feature to work? Any help appreciated. It is a built in convection oven
