Can You Help With These Problems?

  dishwasher not coming on
  dishes left with murky water splashed on them. checked filters and fitted them all back ok. green light flashing and dishwasher not coming on. salt a bit low but still some in there. any ideas?

  trips out the consumer unit when switched on
  Whenever the dishwasher is switched on it trips out the consumer unit for the house
