I need a repair manual and advice.Before I bother typing the problem in detail AGAIN, I,d like to know this will finally register and post.

keeps tripping as soon unit is plugged in

W/P REFRIG MODEL # ED25DQ
THIS UNIT IS ABOUT 15 YRS. OLD. THE MOTOR DOES NOT RUN, BUT THE INTERIOR LIGHTS WORK. I DON'T WANT TO WASTE MONEY ON A TECHNICIAN VISIT, IF THE COMPRESSOR IS SHOT. FROM MY DESCRIPTION, DOES THIS SOUND LIKE THE COMPRESSOR. BEST MOVE MIGHT BE A NEW FRIDGE FOR PEACE OF MIND.

Ice maker issue -- Whirlpool ED25DQ
Water dispenser is working, but ice maker is not getting any water to make ice. I've replaced the inlet valve. Any further ideas? I can feel cool water going to the water dispenser plastic line, but no water going to the ice maker line from the inlet valve?

ice maker
water in the door works. ice maker doesn't. is there a strainer in the water tubing system to clean? metal "stop" bar is down; not sure the ice-maker blades are turning though.how do you check to see if motor is working or water is coming into ice-maker?
