how do you put the gasket in.Should you see it at the bottom of the bread basket and then put on the paddel

Gasket on Bread maker ABM-550

this is the order...gasket then bread basket then paddle... the paddle gets baked into the bread... and yes you can still see the gasket under the bread basket when everything is ready to add the bread.
