how to use

moved into a house with this stove top and not sure how to use all the features. Particularly how to use the grill - the burner just hangs when I plug it in.

    Can you be more specific? Are you referring to the griddle?

    I think what you may need is the "Rock Plate" that goes underneath the heating element. It lays in the 'tray' and supports the heating element.     thank you - that is exactly what I needed to know. I was wondering what those "rock plates" were for - thought that maybe people used them to shape hamburgers or something. Thanks for your help.
