  The reste button is on the bottom. Try unplugging the disposer, using the hex hey (in the midddle of the bottom) and turn the interior of the unit. Dislodging the clog.
  
  Then plug back in and if needed us the reset switch

  This unit has been in operation for a few years. When it would not start in the pass I merely pressed the reset on the bottom of the unit and it was fine. When it did not start today and I pressed the reset it started but would not shut down. I had to pull the circuit breaker to stop the unit. It seems apparent that the reset is locked in contact but I see no way to get at it.
