Brewing

I Brew a pot of Coffee and then Turn of the Coffemaker. I start to brew another pot and it will not brew. After I unplug it for about 30 seconds and plug it back in it then brews the coffee.

I have searched the cuisinart site for a munual and they do not even show this model. The closest one is a DCC-2000 series. Help ?????
