Question About Hotpoint Dishwasher FDW60
my hotpoint fdw60...

Once switched on the dishwasher keeps flashing to eco wash it makes a noise but nothing happens how can I solve this problem ?

2 there is a polystyrene float in the base pan. 1/4 to 1/2 pint of fluid lifts the float and activates a safety switch. tilt machine or lay it on its side to drain. My float stuck in the raised position. removed the base pan and two screws on the float holder. Clean and dried it worked. Still trying to identify the leak though.
