Please help find the manual for this Hotpoint Gas Range

How do I disable the 12 hour shut off? The paperwork says to press the minute increase and decrease pad together and hold for 4 seconds. I did that and the display showed "ON" but I could not "toggle" it to change to "OFF". How do I do that? I assume that if this feature is working, it would be equivalent to a "Sabbath" mode feature, is that correct? I would like to verify that this feature is working and I know how to use it before I accept this oven as a gift from a friend. Thanks, I've heard many great things about the Hotpoint ovens.
