Beaumark Portable Dishwasher 410410

looking for a manual or solution to problem

Beaumark Whisperwash portable dishwasher has pile of macerated food scraps behind screen at bottom rear of machine. Dishes have "grit" stuck to them after cycle complete. Think the built-in garberator may be plugged but don't know how to get at it or to clean under screen. Should we take it in for repair or can we do it ourselves and how...
