A white film is left on the glasses after washing....

A white film is left on the glasses after washing. We have cleaned the food scrapper and rubber valve in the bottom with minimal results. What can we do to eliminate this film? We have cleaned the food scraper and valve at the bottom. We use Cascade gel. The water is not particularly hard in our area of Texas.
