    Ok so i found my manual...finally..here's wat u do...pull the plug on in the water resevoir this is a filter that needs to be replaced...mix half vinnegar half water in the coffee pot pour into resevoi....press and hold the Clean light button (its the light that wont shut off..yep thats a button) this will start the self cleaning function and allow the light to shut off.. replace the charcoal filter with a new one...bing bang blibbity blam your done..when the solution finishes brewing pour it out rinse out ur coffee pot and away u go!!

    Oh ya it takes 60 mins to finish full self clean and u cannot stop the process half way...turnin off and unpluggin the unit will only prolong the clean!! so make sure u budget time for it......oh by the way...WAT A PAIN IN THE ASS!! thanks GE for giving us another wonderfull product!!
