Bought used

Refridgerator side not getting cold enough, freezer side ok. Is this a defect on this model? can it be repaired or should return it and get my money back?

    open freezer door, on back wall of freezer do you have frosty ice build upin lower section if so you have a problem with defrost circuit
    remove lower


    check to see if damper is opening.check to see that there is no frosty ice build up on lower back portion of wall inside freezer if so you have a defrost problem (heater stat)place your hand near the vent in the top left hand corner of fridge compartment. with the compressor running and the damper open you should feel air entering into the compartment

  • not getting cold

    I had the same problem they had to replace something, don't remember what but works fine now. It took 2 yrs but finally it's OK now. THANK GOODNESS iT WAS UNDER A "MASTER PROTECTION PLAN".
