the heavy duty light on the control panel is on, dimly. I have never used the heavy duty setting. nothing makes it go off. If I put in on the light is brighter, but when I put it off the dim light remains. I have even run it through a 1 hr quick wash cycle, but the dim heavy duty light stays lit. I am afraid of fire.
