Can't pop popcorn

I can't pop popcorn in my microwave and it drives me nuts. Either it doesn't pop anything or it burns it before it's half way done. I've tried changing the power and manually putting in the time. Obviously the popcorn button doesn't work. What can I do?

  • Popping popcorn

    I had the same issue with the popcorn and I just figured out how to fix it!! I'm so excited. All I did was put a plate upside down in the microwave and use the popcorn button and it popped a whole bag. Don't ask me how or why, but it worked.

    Yep! That's what you have to do. I used the glass plate from my old microwave and it worked perfectly.
