Member Discussion on Amana ACS7280A Range

control panel

We have a electric slide in smoothtop range. We are in our 6th year in our house and this is the third time the control panel has gone out. It is beeping f1 again. Will Amana do anything about this? When we look at different web sites, it appears that this is a very common problem. This is causing a very bad name for the company and I personally would like to see Amana do a product recall and fix this issue for good. any thoughts?
