cycle not completing

the cycle does not really start- the prewash starts and then shuts down after a few minutes, leaving the prewash light flashing

Prewash Flashing Stops on Cycle

Prewash Flashing Stops on Cycle, is a result of the Pump to the drain either not working or blocked.

Firstly check to see is the inlet to the S bend has been drilled, then the Hose from the Dishwasher to the S Bend, if all are clear then your pump has stopped working.
