Whirlpool does not publish the error messages in their owner's manuals. We called their customer service center and were told we could clear F2 by disconnecting the power. We tried, but it didn't work. They said the key pad must be bad. We paid $75 for a service call to learn that you have to disconnect the power for at least 5 - 10 minutes for the computer to reset itself. There was nothing wrong with the key pad.
