Trouble- won't start.

Hello, My Ice machine has power, will go through the cleaning cycle, but will not begin ice making cycle. Got 2 flashes on the harvestlight. Where do I go from here? Please.

  • RE: Trouble- won't start.

    Two lights is long harvest time. There may not be enough water getting to the machine (if you have water filters check your pressure and see if they are clogged). Your ice thickness probe may be too far from the evaporator- try tightening it just a tad (should be about 3/8 in away from the evaporator, use an allen wrench between the evap & probe to check thickness). FYI- if you don't know, the evaporator is the steel grate the ice is formed on and the probe is the thing hanging in front of it.
