First I must inform you I am not very good with the computer. I will try to explain how I obtained a downloadable manual (there was no charge). Go to Whirlpool.com and about midway down the page on the right under customer support choose manuals and follow the prompts. This should get you the manual when you type in the model number. I hope, I used this add comment correctly.
