Friend of mine bought new food processor and has passed her old one on to me

The product seems to have all the relative parts with it. My friend has advised me that it is in safe working order and the appliance is fine to use even though it is now a few years in age. I need a manual, or at least just want to know what the rippled disk paddle is for. If you can help me with that one alone that would be good as she no longer has the manual and she never used it and has no idea what it's for.

Moulinex Masterchef 450 - What the rippled disk is for.

I just discovered from looking at a manual on here for similar model that it is in fact an egg whisk or emulsifier.
