Blade removal for cleaning

Blade will not release for disasembling & cleaning. Knob turns 1/4 turn both directions but will not come off

1101E blade removal

I don't know if someone helped you but just turn the knob counterclockwise while holding the blade I had to use pliers to start it and it just unscrews
