refrigeratorbeforecleaning.If this
is notpractical,wringexcess
moistureoutof spongeor cloth
whencleaningaroundswitches,
lightsor controls.
Usewarmwaterandbakingsoda
solution—aboutatablespoonof
bakingsodato a quartofwater.
Thisbothcleansandneutralizes
odors.Rinsethoroughlywithwater
andwipedry.
Otherpartsofthe refrigerator—
includingdoorgaskets,meatand
vegetabledrawers,icestorage
binand allplasticparts-can be
cleanedthesameway.Donotuse
cleansingpowdersor otherabrasive
cleaners.
Tohelppreventodors,leave
an openboxofbakingsodain the
rear oftherefrigerator,onthetop
shelf.Changetheboxeverythree
months.An openboxofbaking
sodain thefreezerwillabsorb
stalefreezerodors.

soda(oneteaspoon)andtwocupsof
hot(notboiling)waterthroughthe

meatbasterandbaking-soda-and-
watersolutionto forcetheclog
throughthedrainline.

withembossedsurfaces.pull the
refrigeratorstraightoutandreturnit
to positionbypushingit straightin.
