INSTALLATION HELP TIPS
QUEST JUICE DISPENSER
The following information is provided for your review of the key points to a successful installation of the
Quest Juice Dispenser.
• A dedicated power line with a 15-amp rating is required.
• The unit will operate from 20 psi minimum dynamic to 80 psi maximum static inlet water pressures,
recommended optimal inlet water pressure range is 50-60 psi, therefore pressure in excess of 60 psi
requires a regulator for optimal control.
• Ideal operating range is 45-50 psi flowing at 3oz per second to the dispenser.
• Be sure the unit is not tilted forward and is level front to back and side to side.
• A minimum clearance of 4“ off the back and 12” above the top is required for proper air circulation.
• Removing the splash panel gains access to water bath fill line. Water bath must be filled before
cooling will begin.
• Remove the black dust caps from the nozzles before operating the dispenser.
DO NOT FILL THE WATER BATH TOO QUICKLY
Although water is coming out of the overflow tube, filling too fast can cause a backpressure situation in
the tank and as a result the water bath will be under filled.
• Never use Distilled, De-ionized, or Bottled water.
To Fill the Water Bath
• The ice bank control has a 3 minute delay built into it. This time starts from the time the water bath is
filled and the unit is plugged in.
• A full Ice bank pull down takes approximately 3.5 - 5 hours. Cooling is taking place during this time.
• The door latch and cabinet switch or the cherry switch (depending on the unit revision) is used to
reset the refill light. The pump platforms cannot be operated with the door in the open position.
Trying to engage this switch/latch with the door open will result in permanent damage to the part. The net
result is the unit will no longer dispense.
Order Tool P/N 720201439 to operate unit with door open.
