OPERATION
V. QUICK REFERENCE: TROUBLESHOOTING
SYMPTOM PROBLEM SOLUTION
The oven temperature
exceeded 650°F (343°C),
and the burner was
automatically shut down.
• FollowtheproceduresunderDaily Shutdown Procedures in this
section to shut down the oven. Contact your Middleby Marshall
Authorized Service Agent to determine and correct the cause of
the condition to prevent damage to the oven.

AUTHORIZED SERVICE AGENT. A SERVICE AGENCY DIRECTORY IS SUPPLIED WITH YOUR OVEN.

• Checkthatthecircuitbreaker/fuseddisconnectisturnedon.
• Check that the "BLOWER" ( ) Switch is in the “ON” ("I")
position.
• Turnthe"HEAT"( ), "BLOWER" ( ), and "CONVEYOR"
( )switches to the "OFF" ("O") position.
• Wait for AT LEAST FIVE MINUTES before restarting the
oven.
• RepeattheDailyStartupprocedure.
• CheckthattheSetPointiscorrectlyset.
• Checkthatboththe"BLOWER"( ) and "HEAT" ( ) Switches
are in the “ON” ("I") position.
• Iftheovenstillwillnotheat,turnthe"HEAT"( ), "BLOWER"
( ), and "CONVEYOR" ( )switches to the "OFF" ("O")
position.
• WaitforATLEASTFIVEMINUTESbeforerestartingtheoven.
• RepeattheDailyStartupprocedure.CheckthattheSetPoint
isabove200°F(93°C).
• Turntheoventothe“OFF”or“O”position,andallowittocool.
Disconnect electrical power to the oven.
• RefertoSection4,Maintenance, for instructions on reassembling
theairngers.
• Turntheoventothe“OFF”or“O”position,andallowittocool.
Disconnect electrical power to the oven.
• Checkiftheconveyorisblockedbyanobjectinsidetheoven.
• RefertoSection4,Maintenance, for instructions on checking
the conveyor and drive chain tension.
• Check that the set temperature and bake time settings are
correct.
Conveyor moves with a
jerky motion, or will not
move at all
Food products are over-
cooked or undercooked.
Conveyor may be jammed
on an object in the oven, or
conveyor belt or drive chain
tension may be incorrect.
Controls may be set incor-
rectly.
