GRIDDLE PLATE
PRECAUTIONS:
The appliance on which the accessory is to be used must meet the following minimum installation
requirements:
It must be equipped with a cooling fan;
Any lateral wall which is higher than the hob must be at least 5 cm away from the side and such a
wall may not be present on both sides.
IT IS NOT POSSIBLE TO USE MORE THAN ONE PLATE AT THE SAME TIME ON THE SAME
APPLIANCE.
USE:
THE PLATE MUST NOT BE USED FOR MORE THAN 60 MINUTES.
After this period, the burners must be turned off and left to cool for at least 60 minutes.
The burners under the plate may be lit at the same time, at the maximum setting, for no more than 15
minutes; after this period, they must be set at the minimum level.
Before use, it is advisable to rinse, dry and lightly oil the plate.
The plate must be positioned above the racks provided (Fig. 1).
The possible positions are shown at the start of this manual (Fig. 2-3).
The oven(s) in the kitchen where the plate is being used can function at the same time as the plate
(except for the pyrolysis function, where applicable) for a maximum of 60 minutes, following the
instructions in the appliance's instruction booklet.
After use, it is advisable to wait for at least 15 minutes before removing the accessory from the
appliance.
The same precautions should be followed even if only one burner is being used.
CLEANING:
It is easier to clean the plate when it is still warm.
Do not submerge it in water immediately after use; wait for it to cool.
Use standard special detergents for stainless steel and non-abrasive sponges.
Any remaining encrustations or food residues can be easily removed by soaking the plate for a while.
Dry it carefully.
