Lift-up cooktop
1. Remove surface burner grates.
2. Lift front of cooktop at both front corners
until the support rods lock into place.
Personal Injury Hazard
Be sure both support rods are fully
extended and in the locked position.
Failure to do so could result in personal
injury from the cooktop accidentally
falling.
NOTE: Do not drop the cooktop. Damage
could result to the porcelain and the cooktop
frame.
3. Wipe with warm, soapy water. Use a
soapy, steel-wool pad on heavily soiled
areas.
4. To lower the cooktop, lift cooktop from
both sides while pressing the support rods
back to unlock them. Lower the cooktop
into place. Replace surface burner grates.
Surface burners

2.
Lift up the cooktop, following the instruc-
tions above.
Before cleaning, remove screws that
hold each of the burners in place. The
screws prevent the burners from moving
during shipment. Remove the shipping
screws with a Phillips screwdriver and lift
the burners up and out. This separates
the burners from the mounting bracket
under each burner pair.
3. Wipe off surface burners with warm,
soapy water and a sponge after each
use. To remove cooked-on food, soak
the burners in a vinegar and water
solution for 20-30 minutes. Scrub with a
plastic scrubbing pad.
4. If ports are clogged, clean with a
straight pin. DO NOT enlarge or distort
the ports. DO NOT use a toothpick to
clean the ports.
