Is the oven correctly wired to a live clrcult
with the proper voltage? (See

Have you checked your home’s maln fuses or
circuit breaker box?
If the oven will not operate:
l
Is the Oven Selector turned to a settlng
(BAKE or BROIL, but not TIMED BAKE)?
l
Is the Oven Temperature Control turned to a
temperature setting?
If the selt-oleanlng cycle will not operate:
I Are the Oven Selector and Oven Tempera-
ture Control set to “CLEAN”?
l
Does the Start Time dlal show the correct
time of day?
l
Is the Stop lTme dial set ahead to the tlme
you want the cleaning cycle to stop?

Is the oven level?
l
Are you using pans recommended In the
Cooklng Oulde?
l
If baklng, have you allowed 1% inches to 2
Inches (4-5 cm) on all sides of the pans for
air circulation?
l
Does the oven temperature seem too low or
too hlgh? See page 5, “Resetting the oven
temperature control.”
l
Have you preheated the oven as the recipe
calls for?
l
Are the pans the size called for In the
recipe?
l
Are you following a tested recfpe from a
reliable source?
