I finally gave up! The wording on the buttons wore off or came off, and so I just played around with it. Then used some recipies from a bread making book. They worked okay for a while. But, the machine gave out, and we trashed it. Got a MUCH better Cuisinart from Costco on line!!!! LOVE this one!!!!!!!

I have the betty crocker bake it easy 1 not 2. The recipes for the "2" seem to work fine, but mine has many more settings to use so I feel I am probably missing out on some recipes.

Nothing happens when I connect the breadmaker to the power supply. According to the manual I should hear a beep and see "1 3:30 " on the LCD screen but this is not happening. I have checked the fuse in the plug and that is ok.
I would be grateful if anyone could offer any advice. This product is just over 12 months old and was previously in good working order.
