after 5 minutes it just shuts off there is plenty of space all around it for ventalation but it over heats. there is a piece of cardboard on the roof inside but it is not mentioned in the manual what could be the problem

Product Problem: Only works when shaken

Wasn't even a month old an it stopped working. It would spark to life when shaken so that got me thinking a loose wire. I took the top off to look inside an found a something that has 2 wires hooked to it that was causing it to not work. One wire leading out was visible burnt but when moved the microwave would power up, I think its a diode, 2 screws holing it in place an a part #KSD1 180. Not sure where to find a placement part but am looking. Also it would be nice to know why this happened on such a new micowave.

Thank you for your response, I checked several repair shops but have been unable to find a replacement part. I however have not tried contacting Emerson yet I was hoping to find something locale or online. Would that be something you could help me with?

Jenn-Air JMC7000ADW Problem.
I entered the time I wanted it to cook and hit the wrong button to start. Since then I can enter the time, press start and it counts down, however it doesn't run, no light, no turntable movement. It just sits there and counts down. Thanks in advance for your help.
